For more than 40 years, my career has centered around words, precision, and helping others communicate with clarity. Whether I’m capturing the verbatim record in the legal field, training professionals on specialized software, building digital tools, or designing quilts, my mission is simple: to empower others with the skills, confidence, and resources they need to thrive.
🏛️ Over 40 Years in Court Reporting & Professional Training
My journey began in 1981 when I graduated from the Chicago College of Commerce with an Associate Degree in Business, majoring in Court Reporting. Since then, I’ve worked as a freelance court reporter and maintained a proud, continuous membership with the National Court Reporters Association (NCRA)—even earning a feature in an NCRA publication.
Over the decades, my passion for the craft grew into a love for teaching. Through the Gibson Skill Development and Training Center, I provide specialized training in Eclipse CAT software for court reporters and scopists. From foundational courses to custom one-on-one consultations, I focus on practical note-reading, efficient editing workflows, and building lasting confidence.
To take transcript excellence even further, I also created Legal Grammar Pro (coming soon)—a specialized grammar and proofreading platform designed to help legal transcript professionals sharpen their skills and produce immaculate transcripts.

As an author and creator myself, I know firsthand that writing a book can feel overwhelming—especially for first-time authors trying to navigate drafting, formatting, and publishing.

I built this platform to give aspiring writers an all-in-one solution to bring their stories to life without losing their authentic voice. It covers the entire journey—guiding you from initial concept and writing all the way to complete preparation for self-publishing platforms like Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP). My goal is to remove the technical hurdles so your unique message can reach the world.

Family: I am blessed to share my life with my husband, Bruce, our three adult children, and four wonderful grandchildren.

Creative Design: I am an avid quilt and pattern designer, blending color, structure, and patience to create custom pieces.

Faith & Community: For over 26 years, I’ve served as a Sunday School teacher at Bethlehem Healing Temple Church in Boston, MA, where my passion for creating interactive, multimedia learning materials first began.

Wellness: I stay energized and active through a routine of swimming and strength training.
