January 6, 2021 – Production & Training with the Eclipse CAT Software

Court Reporting is a great profession. In high school, I learned Stenography! I didn’t realize at the time what a great skill it is and how it would transform my life. I have been a court reporter now since 1981. This profession allows you to work as much as you want or as little – it’s up to you when you are a freelancer. There are opportunities for official positions, and then you are an employee with daily demands on your time. So you decide what works for you. This profession causes you to learn about many things! One thing I have learned is that in order to be productive, I need to development my own production team! I am a working court reporter and Eclipse CAT Trainer. The training part is covered in my company called: Gibson Skill Development and Training Center. Click here to find out more!

I am continuing to build my production team! Are you a court reporter, scopist, or proofreader looking for connections or work? Get on my email list for my production team.  I have created this email list to keep in touch with people so that I can get help when I need it. When the need arises, I find myself making a lot of phone calls and sending out posts with slow responses or no response at all. Many times, I am seeking help on the day I need help and people are already committed or busy.  The signup form includes a short questionnaire.  Click here to get on the production team.

I provide Foundation Training for court reporters, scopists, and proofreaders of the Eclipse CAT Software. We don’t send out posts everyday. Are you ready? It’s time to set up a Strategy Session. The Strategy Session takes
about 20 minutes. During the Strategy Session, it’s time for you to access if we are
a good fit and what type of training would be helpful. There is no fee.
Click here for the Strategy Session.

Experienced Eclipse Users take the Eclipse Survey. The survey has 30 questions,
which allows you to see your strengths and weaknesses with the Eclipse Software.
The survey is located in our Gibson Skill Development and Training Center website.
After you have taken the survey, you will meet with the trainer to discuss the survey,
and an individualized training plan will be presented. The meeting with the trainer
will be about 1 hour. There is a small fee of $49.99 to cover the cost of the survey.
